About Us

Starting in 1983, Rothwell Competitive Music Festival has been providing a platform for all ages and abilities to perform and be assessed in a friendly atmosphere. Based in Rothwell, at the impressive Blackburn Hall and the Methodist Church, it offers a full range of classes in music, covering piano, wind, brass, string instruments, solo singers, adult and schools choirs, brass bands and orchestras, and small groups of any combination!

The festival is followed by a "Showcase Concert" with some of the highlights of the festival. And in Autumn each year, we hold a fund raising concert.
